			Your club needs you! The Club still has a Committee vacancies. The club is in need of a Club Chairman, and our Secretary has expressed her intention of standing down in the near future If you are able to help out with either of these posts please contact Judy Cave (Hon. 					1. Please remember it is a club requirement that you obtain your British Waterways licence through the club scheme. Complete documents as normal with cheques payable to British Waterways, but send your completed documents and payment to Mrs C. Barford, 7 St Stephens Road, Hightown, Liverpool. L38 0BL 2. If you change your address, home or mobile telephone number, or boat name please don't forget to advise our club secretary (Joan Foster). The contractors have replacing the electrical sockets on the moorings. All sockets now comply with ISO BS4343. This means you will no longer be able to use standard 3pin domestic plugs, or multi-plug adaptors. The contractors have experienced some difficulties as they are finding many of the extension leads in use on members boats contain damp or are poorly wired, also members are using power sockets for domestic appliances (electric kettles etc), the RCDs are designed to trip out when the power exceeds that used for a power tool or battery charger thus the result is that they trip out the RCDs and deny power to the other boxes linked to that RCD. It is important that members replace their leads with cables that comply with BS6500 and plugs complying with BS4343. - These can be obtained from any reputable caravan / camping dealers, or you can order on line from this web page link for "Towsure". or Screwfix
