I have two chair beds in beige fire and stain retardant faux suede
material. These were manufactured especially for us to fit into
the lounge area of our narrowboat. They originally cost £1400
three years ago. The concept is simplicity itself, two metal
brackets are released from the back of the chair allowing the
arms to fold down, each chair has two matching boxes one
inside the other Russian doll style (which we used as footstools)
which are placed under the arms to keep them horizontal.
The chairs come apart quite easily (six screws on each arm) to
allow the chairs to be taken through the confined narrowboat
doors. They are in excellent condition except for one small burn
mark, thanks to my sister-in-law (see photo – the burn not the
sister in law!), on the inside rear of one of the arms.

I will prefer to only sell the chairs as a pair if possible.
Patrice never felt happy with them after the burn was made and
so we have now replaced them.

direct to your boat if you wanted.

can be used in cars as well plugs into a ciggy lighter thingummy.
